Birthday Fun

I turned 26 this year. Crazy, I'm one of those old ladies now. I sure feel older than I did. My body hurts more, I get tired a lot and I remember things that the younger generation didn't know about. Like the other day I was talking about the old batman movies. Like the ones Val Kilmer and Micheal Keaton were in and my little bother in-laws didn't remember them. I never thought that this would happen to me. I am getting older and its ok. I don't think I'm getting wiser. In fact I'm pretty sure I have lost a lot since having Hudson. How long does pregnancy brain last? Does it just turn into mom brain. The brain that is so over powered by thoughts of your kid that everything else goes away. Maybe someday I will get it back like I will get my body back right??!  Anyway my family and I went to Tucanos for our birthday. It was my sisters birthday too so we both got those free birthday cards. It was fun. We always eat too much when we go there. You can never get enough of that pineapple. Yum!
Randy loves giving babies their first taste of lemon to see their funny face...well Hudson liked it. He couldn't get enough. That's our kid, not the norm. He likes to be different I guess.

Here is Lindsay and I. She turned 29. Next year she will be 30. I love to celebrate my birthday with her. It's fun to share your birthday.

Here is my crazy family. It was a fun night!

Mommy's Little Helper

I was cutting up this material I had to make a blanket one day and Hudson helped so much. He kept wanting the scissors and the measuring tape. Things are so much easier when he helps...Ya right. As you can see in the pictures below he helped a lot.
Here he started rolling up in the fabric and couldn't get out. It was funny to watch him squirm out of it. I don't know how I get anything done with him. Oh wait I don't, that's right.

Man I love this little guy and yes he loves his binky  :)

Girls Weekend

So for Christmas we made Randy's neices these nap mats and along with them we promised a sleepover as well. So the girls came and spent the night. We went to the park and them came home watched "UP" and then went to bed. It was a fun weekend. We love these girls.
 Here is Kelsie!
 Marissa
 Brooklynn

So this thing is pretty fun. If you sit in it, it can spin you in a complete circle. Randy is doing this too. He fits really well in this thing huh lol.

Hudson has this worried look on his face a lot. I'm not quite sure but it't cute. I think Hudson liked having the girls over. They sure love him. It was a fun sleepover.

Here is Hudsons first face painting. I wanted to do a butterfly to be funny but we did a spider.

There is the duck again. Told ya. He loves it!
I'm a crazy baby!!!
You can't see it very well. But this was Hudson's first bump on the head. I think he got it in the bath maybe. I don't really remember. I just remember feeling really sad.

As I have said, Hudson loves that bath. He loves to slash and talk to his reflection in the metal thing. He also loves this little ducky. Whenever he gets it, it goes straight into his mouth. And it will stay in his mouth the entire bath time and while I get him ready. He just keeps it in there. It's so funny. I think bath time is one of my favorite times with Hudson. He gets so happy. No that he can kinda crawl (army crawl) he does that in the bath. He tried to drink the water too but ends up just coughing a lot. He'll figure that out soon. He also pulled himself up to standing the first time the other day. That was exciting. Its to fun to see him do new things. It's amazing.

He likes when Dad gives him a bath. However, Randy always needs help getting him out and getting him dressed. Hudson is getting so squirmy when we change his diaper or get him changed. He cries like we are torturing him. I don't get it. I wish he would just sit still like he used to. Ya right!!
We go on a lot of walks now that its warming up. We (I) love it. I'm not bored as much as in the winter now. I wish we never had snow. I'm ready to move somewhere warm so that we can go on walks all year long. I can dream.
Hudson loves the Wii remote.

And he loves eating. He won't let me feed him any more. He won't open his mouth for me. So I have to give him real food. Which is hard when I eat cereal for dinner. We are getting better at it though. He loves bread and cheese, just like his mom. He also loves avacadoes, cottage cheese and cheerios. He doesn't like applesauce that much and vegetables. That will probably be a battle. But I can get him to eat sweet potato fries. He also loves nutrigrain bars and lasagna. HE is a pretty good eater. He does not like crab. We will work on that!! :)

Swimming!!

I couldn't wait last summer til I could take Hudson swimming. I love to swim and loved taking him for the first time last month. It was so fun. Hudson loves the bath and he loved swimming. I don't have a suit for him yet so I had to use my little brother Braedy's from when he was a baby. It worked out!

Here is Randy and Hudson. Randy took him on the slide and scared the crap out of him....Thanks Dad :)
Teagan loved this slide. He went on it over and over and over.
Here is Lindsay and Hudson. He liked that ball.

Afterwards we all went to the Pie. Yummy pizza!

It was one fun night at Cottonwood Heights. I wish Saratoga springs had a pool. Someday...

More Pictures of Hudson

GO Longhorns!! I got this cute track suit in Arizona. I love it. I think we looks so cute in it!!

Hudson rolled up like a burrito in this blanket and I don't think he could get out of it.
Hudson loves eating. He gets super messy when he eats. He also loves eating his socks. All of his socks used to look like this by the end of the day. Yuck!

Hudson and Dad. AHH
This is funny. Hudson likes to watch tv and this day I left the room and came back and he was just lying on the ground like that watching TV. Just chillin'.
